Mini Museum
Comic Book Display
Comic book collectors are a unique bunch, with fans from every era ranging from the Golden Age to the Modern Age, and most of us enjoy a mix. In an effort to show our unique collecting style, Monument Comic Expo will have a mini museum each year. This display will showcase a unique era, style, or artist.
This year, we will be showcasing the early Bronze Age. Since I’ve written extensively on www.blog.comicspriceguide.com, this seems like the ideal place to begin our exhibits. We will show numerous comic book covers that aren’t necessarily expensive, although some are, but covers that best represent the era.
Comic book covers from artists like Neal Adams, Bernie Wrightson, and Mike Kaluta will be displayed. Music from the early 70s will be available to play.
Unique Space
Take a break from shopping and enjoy a curated display of comic book artwork and iconic books from the Bronze Age.
History Emphasis
Comics have a long, rich history that changes with the culture around them
Take a Seat
We will provide seating in our display area for you to sit and enjoy the great comic book art.
Book of the Week
House of Secrets #92 – An absolute masterpiece by Bernie Wrightson that captures the mood and the moment before she discovers Swamp Thing.
House of Secrets #123 – Frank Robbins created one House of Secrets cover, and this is it. If you could only do one cover, make it special!
